Never Walk Alone Mate
I was informed the other day on my birthday by my friend that she was assaulted, and robbed of her phone. The victim/friend of mine’s name will remain unknown in this, as well as the attacker and robber. From my understanding, he stalked her, long enough to take the opportunity to push her down, take her phone, and stormed away. Although this didn’t ruin my day, it still upsets me, primarily because I felt useless being unable to help her since she lives across the globe; I also wanted to brawl and fight the guy, but in the end, that wouldn’t resolve anything. The fortunate thing is that she’s alright, and will go through a speedy recovery; the phone can be replaceable. Later that day, officers came to her house and wrote a statement; they’re going to get him for assault and robbery, so that’s better news. I’m sure I’ll get an update soon enough on this.
Listening to: Never Walk Alone - Madina Lake
3:21 “It’s a little naieve to think that John Cena is just here to cheer on the world strongest man.”
3:36 “Hey this is not the Mexi-ugh, THIS IS NOT THE SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE!”
4:08 “Very mature, he spilled my diet soda!”
4:39 “We have the worst security! Now Cenas a fan, right?"
the voices inside my head told me to do it XD
BEST THING EVARRRRRRRRRRR!
OMG. -dead-

My thoughts on WWE’s Bragging Rights ppv 10/24/10
Daniel Bryan d. Dolph Ziggler
I thought it was a great match that was better than Bryan/Miz at Night of Champions. I give this one **** (out of 5) just as I gave that one, but like I said I liked this one more. The crowd wasn’t into it at the start, but they got them into it and even sparked a “this is awesome” chant. Bryan won with the LeBell Lock and the crowd absolutely loved it. It was a great way to start the show. I’d love to see more of these two. I’d expect it to happen because Bryan is the US Champ and Ziggler is the IC Champ. They’ll likely be unifying those belts soon. Plus, after the performance they gave here I think they deserve to have more matches with eachother.
Tag Titles: John Cena & David Otunga d. Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre
It’s obvious WWE doesn’t give a damn about the tag division. More proof here. Cena won the match by himself, rendering Rhodes & McIntyre as jobbers, and then he gave the AA to Otunga post match. Want to know why new stars don’t get created? Because they booked as jobbers. The reluctant tag team champions gimmick is tiresome. And why not advertise the Cena match beforehand? It could have earned a few more PPV buys.
Ted Dibiase d. Goldust
The girls fought out on the floor and Ted won during the distraction. A year ago Ted was pegged as a future main eventer. Now he barely ever wins. Nobody’s stock has fallen in 2010 more than Ted Dibiase. And I’m not sure if it’s a performance thing. The booking of his character has been awful. Goldust and Aksana ended up leaving with the Million Dollar Belt again. I guess the story MUST CONTINUE! (The “MUST CONTINUE” is in Howard Finkel’s voice. Old school, people.)
Divas Title: Layala d. Natalya
Layla won thanks to Michelle’s cheating. Why does Tyson Kidd or DH Smith come out to help Natalya to prevent interference? Or maybe Melina? I forgot it’s WWE where women babyfaces aren’t allowed to have a personality or brains. I wrote in the preview that if Laycool retains it’s likely because they’ll be putting Beth Phoenix in a feud against them. She’s expected to return possibly as soon as tonight. I think that’s the end of Natalya’s run as top contender. For shame. She deserves the belt.
World Title: Kane d. Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match
Undertaker had the match won until Nexus came out to beat the shit out of him. That allowed Kane to get the advantage and ultimately win the match. This is the third win for Kane over Undertaker. He won clean at Night of Champions, he won because of Paul Bearer at Hell in a Cell and he won because of Nexus here. It’s rare for somebody to go over Undertaker three times, though, so it should build Kane up even more. I’d guess Edge is the next World Title contender although I have no idea. As for Undertaker, he’s got a hurt shoulder according to Dave Meltzer. He either needs surgery for a torn rotator cuff or he’ll be able to rehab without the surgery. I’m not sure when he’d be back. Maybe the Rumble? Maybe not until WrestleMania? I’m not sure. Clearly, though, being 45 years old and spending 20 years as a top guy are wearing on him.
Team Smackdown d. Team Raw
I’m surprised by this because Smackdown dominated team Raw on both Raw & Smackdown last week. Plus Smackdown won last year if that’s supposed to mean anything. It came down to Raw having a 3 on 2 advantage with Punk, Jackson & Miz taking on Edge & Rey. The end result saw Edge & Rey overcome the odds to win. A match like this should be used to establish new stars as clutch performers. Instead, two current main event level guys on Team Smackdown won. I’m fine with Edge & Rey winning as I like both guys, but it would have meant more for somebody like Kofi Kingston to be in that spot. I’m not sure why Miz was booked to lose the last two PPVs plus this one. I thought after MITB he’d be booked strong. He hasn’t been. I guess winning this match will matter to Team Smackdown for a week and then we’ll all forget it ever happened. Just like last year.
Wade Barrett d. Randy Orton by DQ
Barrett told Cena he had to win the match, so Cena gave Barrett the Attitude Adjustment to give him the DQ win. Oh it’s the old “win on the technicality” trick. That Cena is such a genius, huh? Post match, Orton hit Cena with the RKO because he’s in Stone Cold mode where he just attacks everybody. I’m guessing this leads to a rematch at Survivor Series since Barrett didn’t lose.
I think next year WWE needs to strongly consider eliminating this PPV. I know they do it because they want to promote the video game, but I’m not sure if this PPV sells any videogames. Their fans are going to buy the game regardless of this PPV. It’s not like this was a well watched show. And from the looks of the booking it wasn’t a great show either.
